It’s winter fun-time at FreePrintable.net world headquarters in Portland, OR. This week, my family chose to enjoy our winter activity in a heated mall. Our younger daughter, CQ, wore us out as she worked on her ice skating skills. Oh, to have the energy of a 4-year-old. I won’t say CQ is a future figure skater, because this is only her second time on the ice, but we think she did a great job. Take a look:
Are you in the mood for winter printables? Even if you’re not up for ice skating, the whole family can enjoy snow-themed coloring pages from FreePrintableColoringPages.net.

Your daughter is darling! Looks like my 3 year old great grandaughter a lot.
She is darling and looks like my friend’s daughter.
I tried and tried when I was young to ice skate but my ankles could not handle it, even with those protector things.
I think CQ did great and maybe we will all see her one day in the Olympics……
I am jealous, my kids are grown and I am waiting for grandchildren to go and watch children do all these wonderful activities, She looks so confident, you are doing a great job as a parent, guiding her to becoming a young lady graceful, but being able to look over and see dad. LOL
Great picture and sounds like a wonderful day.
I am now living in FL and miss the cold/wintery weather.
Great photo and a darling little girl. Kevin, she may become a figure skater or a hockey player. I started roller skating at 4yrs and went on to the ice at 8 for a few spins. At 15, I went on the ice and they had a hard time getting me off of it. I went to work in the rink as a rink guard and started hockey the year I graduated from high school. Great form of exercise. The worst that happened to me that year was that on Christmas Eve I got hit right between the eyes with the puck and looked like a raccoon until after the first of the year.
You go girl! A professional is skater in the making.
Wow! I am so impressed with her. I live in the South and that is something that we do on our front porch when we get that VERY rare ice and snow! (That is when we are trying to get to the store for milk and bread!
She looks like a natural, maybe she will be our “American Olympic Ice Skating Gold Medalist” in a few years!
Kevin, you are a good Daddy!
Fabulous action shot – like wings on a hummingbird! She is precious. And ps. heated indoors doesn’t count….it’s just doing what she wants that makes you a terrific dad
