St. Patrick’s Day Printables Roundup

by Kay on March 12, 2015

St. Patrick’s Day is a popular holiday in America, and it can be fun this month to use some authentic Celtic lingo. A common word is craic (pronounced “crack”) and it means a good time or good company. Another great way to celebrate is with the St. Paddy borders, coloring pages, and greeting cards at my various FreePrintable.net websites.

Kids especially will enjoy the dozens of St. Patrick’s Day coloring pages at FreePrintableColoringPages.net. You can use these for art, gifts, or classroom activities. They have pictures of leprechauns, pots of gold, and plenty of shamrocks.
Each picture can be downloaded and printed for free as a PNG file.

If you’re a teacher looking for a fun, educational way to enjoy the holiday, you can use the St. Patrick’s Day writing prompts for elementary and middle school students at FreeWritingPrompts.net. The prompts are available to download, edit and print as free DOC files, and can foster creative thinking and storytelling.

Holiday cheer doesn’t just belong in schools, though. Feel free to spread some throughout the workspace with the St. Patrick’s Day fax cover from FreeFaxCoverSheets.net. It shows a highly inaccurate depiction of St. Patrick trying to fax the snakes out of Ireland. If you’d rather just send a letter, there are several brand-new St. Patrick’s Day borders that are perfect as stationery. They’re decorated with green borders of leprechauns and clovers.

For a more traditional greeting, use one of the St. Patrick’s Day greeting cards from FreePrintableGreetingCards.net. They’re decorated with pictures of shamrocks, animals, and pots of gold. PDFs are free to print and a customizable version can be purchased for $4 and edited in a word processing program. There are also a Saint Patrick gift tag available at FreePrintableGiftTags.net if you’re giving presents to family or friends. It’s available for free as a PDF or DOC.

Here’s hoping you have some great craic on St. Patrick’s Day—Happy Printing!
