Printable Writing Templates

At some point in their school careers, all students will have to write a report on one of the U.S. states. With the idea of helping both students and teachers succeed in this task, I’ve created 50 new writing templates, one for every state.

Each state writing template is broken down into sections so that the student can learn about the population, capital, major cities, state figures, and official state bird, motto, and flower. There are also visual aids, such as full-color illustrations of the state flags and a line-art drawing of each state. This makes things easy for the teacher who assigns the project and for the child who is researching the history.

WritingTemplates.net now has 170 writing prompt templates, including handwriting lines for practicing cursive and letters. They’re all free to print as a PDF, but it’s only $20 for the whole writing template collection, which can be invaluable during busy days throughout the school year.
