Sign Language Printables

SignLanguagePrintables.com has been a great addition to the FreePrintable.net sites, providing users with American Sign Language (ASL) fingerspelling signs for classrooms and art projects. Now I’m adding a new type of sign language: baby signs. Colored and uncolored, these are great for teaching infants the first steps in communication.

Nurseries and toddler rooms are the best places to hang the full-color baby signs. Try to reinforce the lessons as much as possible by helping your toddler mimic the smiling boy in the pictures as he or she signs out the words “Want,” “Dad,” “Mom,” “Play,” “Thank You,” “Airplane,” “Hungry,” “Sad,” and more.
If you’d rather teach a lesson alongside art time and fun breaks, try using the line art baby signs as coloring pages as well. This can make the lessons more relaxing and enjoyable for your child.

SignLanguagePrintables.com signs are free to download and print as a PDF. The whole ASL collection is available for only $9 and features the labeled and unlabeled alphabet.
