Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Printables

by Kay on March 16, 2011

Does your family have any fun St. Patrick’s Day traditions? Perhaps corned beef and cabbage, or building leprechaun traps? From the looks of the crafts and coloring pages my younger daughter has been bringing home from preschool, they’re going to need some new green crayons soon.

St. Patrick’s Day is a popular holiday at the FreePrintable.net sites. At FreePrintableColoringPages.net, there are nearly 30 coloring pages with leprechauns, shamrocks, blarney stones and even (grownups only!) green beer. There’s a funny St. Patrick’s Day card at FreePrintableGreetingCards.org, a leprechaun fax cover sheet at FreeFaxCoverSheets.net and a leprechaun gift tag at FreePrintableGiftTags.net.

I hope you have a great St. Patrick’s Day, and avoid all that crazy pinching that goes on. Oh, and here’s a St. Pat’s prank I just heard about – I can’t decide if it’s clever or a little weird: sneak green food coloring into the toilet bowl and tell the kids it’s leprechaun “pee.”
